Tuesday Bank Robbery Leads To Manhunt.. Robber Hits Great Western Bank

OMAHA, Neb. -- A bank robbery led to a manhunt in Omaha on Tuesday night.

Police said a man drove up to the drive-through window at the Great Western Bank near 90th and Maple streets late Tuesday afternoon and demanded cash. He told the teller he had a bomb.

Employees at the bank were able to get the robber's license plate number and police tracked the pickup to a home near 105th Street and Old Maple Road.

Officers searched a wide area with the help of the police helicopter, but came up empty, police said.
